Mouse Gene Set: GOBP_RIG_I_SIGNALING_PATHWAY

For the Human gene set with the same name, see GOBP_RIG_I_SIGNALING_PATHWAY

Standard name GOBP_RIG_I_SIGNALING_PATHWAY
Systematic name MM16222
Brief description The series of molecular signals initiated by the binding ssRNA or dsRNA from another organism to the cytoplasmic pattern recognition receptor (PRR) RIG-1 (also known as DDX58). RIG-I detects RNA synthesized during viral replication or shed by non-viral pathogens, and triggers a signaling pathway to protect the host against infection, for example by inducing the expression of cytokines.
